The New Zealand Skiing experience is an adventure. August and September is the best time of year to ski in New Zealand. It is quite possible to ski beautiful powder and perfect spring corn all in the same day. Your own helicopter waiting for you at the bottom of every run and a fantastic gourmet picnic lunch. You will truly wonder why you've never made the trip before. Local knowledge and local guides will help you absorb some of the famous Kiwi culture, both on and off the mountain. The terrain is vast from mellow first timer slopes to build confidence to steeper and longer more challenging runs to suit the heliski veteran. Chartering our own helicopter and fully qualified UIAGM mountain/ski guide is truly the very best way to heli ski. From our base in Wanaka we can access Mt Aspiring national park and the Harris Mountains, some of New Zealand's most dramatic and stunning alpine scenery. The local ski resorts of Treble Cone and Cardrona offer some superb lift accessed skiing both on and off the piste.
