Chris has been at the forefront of the UK freeskiing movement since its inception, and has well over a decade of winters in Chamonix and New Zealand under his belt. One of the strongest UK freeride and big mountain skiers, Chris spends his free time challenging the famous Chamonix backcountry. Freestyle and freeride coaching and ski teaching for many years Chris currently holds a BASI 2 'ISIA' teaching qualification and now only a couple of weeks training away from his full international diploma. Chris has also embarked on the New Zealand mountain guides ski guide program. Previously team manager for The North Face, responsible for the UK freeride team and currently managing teams from Head skis and Ellis Brigham. Chris has also worked as Equipment editor for Fall Line skiing magazine and as ski hardware buyer for Ellis Brigham. His wealth of skiing, teaching experience and knowledge brings a reassuring edge to his inspirational coaching and smooth skiing style.
